Birth is sacred. It’s powerful, intimate, and completely unique, no two stories are ever the same.
My approach is quiet and observant, shaped by documentary storytelling and deep respect for the space you’re in.

I don’t direct or pose.

I hold space, gently capturing the raw emotion, connection, and transformation as it naturally unfolds.

These images aren’t just about the moment your baby arrives, they are a full narrative of strength, love, and becoming.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, I photograph births throughout the region, including Bokarina, Kawana, Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Buderim, Nambour, Noosa and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Because you won’t see or remember everything.
Birth happens quickly, and you will be completely immersed in it. There will be moments you don’t see, details you don’t notice and connections happening around you that you may never know about.
That’s where I come in.
I quietly document your story as it unfolds - the intensity of labour, the strength of your body, the hand holding yours, the people supporting you, the first breath, the first touch and all those beautiful in between moments.
These photographs aren’t just memories of the day your baby was born. They are a record of you becoming their mother.
I intentionally keep the number of births I photograph limited (one per month) so that I can give each family my full attention.
Because birth is unpredictable, I also need to keep space in my calendar for babies who decide to arrive early or late.
Your due date is reserved especially for you, and I remain on call around that time.
Every labour is different, so there isn’t one exact point when I arrive.
We will talk about your birth plans and preferences before your due date, and you will keep me updated as your labour progresses.
I’ll remain in contact with you or your support person and make my way to you at the appropriate time.
Whether you are birthing at home or in hospital, my aim is to arrive with enough time to settle quietly into the space and begin documenting your story.
I am there for your story, not simply the moment your baby arrives.
I will photograph your labour, the birth and the precious first moments afterwards.
Some of the most meaningful photographs happen in the quiet that follows - your first cuddles, your partner meeting your baby, the first breast crawl, the first latch and those tiny new baby details.
I will stay for the agreed period outlined in your birth collection, which is normally up to two hours post birth.
I understand this can be one of the biggest concerns when choosing a birth photographer.
I take my on call commitment seriously and do everything I can to be there for your birth. We stay in close communication as your labour progresses so that I can make my way to you at the appropriate time.
In the unlikely event that circumstances outside of my control mean I cannot attend , my backup arrangements will come into effect.

Your birth is deeply personal, and I only share images with your consent. During our consultation, we’ll discuss what you’re comfortable sharing and which moments you prefer to keep private.

I believe your photographs deserve to exist in print, as a beautiful way to forever tell your story.
