Birth is sacred. It’s powerful, intimate, and completely unique, no two stories are ever the same.
My approach is quiet and observant, shaped by documentary storytelling and deep respect for the space you’re in. I don’t direct or pose. I hold space, gently capturing the raw emotion, connection, and transformation as it naturally unfolds. These images aren’t just about the moment your baby arrives, they are a full narrative of strength, love, and becoming.

  • Hiring a birth photographer ensures that one of the most transformative moments of your life is beautifully documented. From the intensity of labour to the tender first interactions with your baby, I capture the raw emotions, strength, and beauty of your birth story. These images become timeless treasures that you can share with your family for generations.

  • To provide personalised attention and ensure I’m available for each family, I only book one to two birth stories per month. I’m on call 24/7 from 38 weeks gestation until your baby arrives, so my availability is dedicated entirely to you.

  • I aim to arrive during active labour and coordinate closely with your birth partner, midwife, or doula to determine the best time. Every birth is unique, and I consider factors like your birthplace and labour history when planning my arrival.

  • I stay for up to 2 hours post-birth, capturing the golden hour moments like skin-to-skin contact, the first latch, and initial family interactions. If you prefer privacy during this time, I can adjust my departure accordingly.

  • Birth can be unpredictable, and I will do everything possible to be there to document your baby's birth story. However, in the unlikely event that I miss the moment of birth, I will still document the first few hours post-birth capturing all the magical moments of you, your partner & your newest love. 

  • I only share images with your consent. During our consultation, we’ll discuss what you’re comfortable sharing and which moments you prefer to keep private.

  • YES, in both the birth Storyteller and Welcome Baby Package.

    I believe in printing photographs as a beautiful way to forever tell your story, presented in a beautiful Heirloom print box. Handmade glass and brass box with engraved personalised details. Your images presented in a beautiful ribbon of hand dyed silk.
